Experience Brussels in Bloom this August with Hotel Amigo
Brussels, May 2013
– From 15 to 18 August 2013, Rocco Forte’s Hotel Amigo in Brussels will be surprising its guests with a series of floral treats, in celebration of the Belgian capital’s brand new ‘Floralien Time’ event during which Brussels’ Gothic Town Hall on the Grand Place will be transformed inside and out by a stunning flower display. As part of the ‘Floralie’ package, guests of Hotel Amigo will be privy to admire this spectacle, taking place for the first time this year, while a dedicated cocktail menu at the hotel’s bar will complement the nearby display perfectly.
With the Grand Place only a stone’s throw away, Hotel Amigo makes for the ideal base to explore this event. During Floralien Time, rooms rarely open to the public in the majestic Town Hall such as the Ships Hall and the Gallery Grangé will be bedecked in colourful masterpieces created by internationally renowned landscape architects and floral artists, while a relaxation garden on the Grand Place will provide for the perfect place to take a break from exploring this exotic warren of flowers, colours and scents.
The floral theme continues at Bar Amigo where guests can relax with a ‘Parfait de Rose’ cocktail, a drink composed of Grey Goose Vodka, elderflower liqueur, fresh lemon and grapefruit juice and rose-flavoured soda, created for the occasion by the hotel’s Head Barman Paul Bertrand.
The ‘Floralie’ package at Hotel Amigo is available from 15 to 18 August 2013. Prices start from €240 per night based on two people sharing a Classic Room on a B&B basis and includes tickets to the Floralien Time event, a signature floral cocktail and a box of Belgian chocolates, late 3pm check-out and a guaranteed upgrade*.
